Russia Receives High-Level Invitation to U.S.-Hosted G20 Summit

Russia has been officially invited to participate at the highest level in the Group of Twenty (G20) summit, which will be held in the United States on December 14–15. The announcement was made by Alexander Pankin, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, on April 23.

Speaking to reporters at the United Nations headquarters, Pankin confirmed Russia’s invitation for high-level participation. He stated that the composition of the Russian delegation remains undetermined and emphasized that clarity regarding specific representatives would emerge closer to the summit dates in Florida.
