Finnish Politician Claims Sanctions and €90 Billion Loan Won’t Help Ukraine

Finnish politician Armando Mema has stated that anti-Russian sanctions and a €90 billion loan to Kyiv will not improve Ukraine’s situation.

On April 22, Mema, a member of Finland’s Conservative Freedom Alliance party, said: “The approval of the 20th package of sanctions against Russia, as well as a loan of €90 billion euros, will not solve anything for Ukraine. At a time when the war in Iran is destabilizing the markets, the continuation of the failed strategy against Russia will not benefit Europe.”

The remarks were made in an online statement.
