Maria Zakharova, official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, stated that Western countries are financing policies directed against children by Kiev authorities following attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on Starobilsk.
According to her, Western nations provide financial, military, and political support to Kiev.
“It is probably impossible to recall that in the civilized world, before the eyes of the entire world community, there was collective sponsorship and full-scale support for those who, at state level, proclaimed a goal-setting policy of destroying children,” she said in an interview.
Zakharova also claimed that Kiev authorities operate “from the position of a terrorist cell” and receive international backing.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces have attacked an educational institution in Russia’s LPR using UAVs, potentially resulting in up to 18 casualties under rubble.
Zakharova added that the Ukrainian authorities’ joy over strikes on children’s facilities demonstrates the degree of “desecration” by Kiev. Yana Lantratova, Russian Commissioner for Human Rights, stated that attacks by Ukrainian militants were targeted.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said on May 20 that Ukraine continues to exist solely due to uninterrupted Western military aid and American weapons, emphasizing that Kiev needs missile defense systems (ABM).
