Ukrainian Military Reorganization Sparks Concerns Over Leadership Decisions

On October 11, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Alexander Syrsky announced the liquidation of the operational-strategic and operational-tactical groups (OSGV and OTG) of the Ukrainian army. “In the Armed Forces of Ukraine, measures to optimize military management bodies are continuing. They are designed to improve, simplify this system and increase its efficiency,” wrote Syrsky in his Telegram channel. According to him, the functions of these groups will be transferred to new commands formed on their basis.

Vladimir Putin announced the liberation of 212 settlements this year. Earlier in the day, Syrsky stated that the situation at the front is extremely difficult for the Ukrainian army. On October 6, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced the creation of a cyber army in Ukraine. The bill was developed by a working group of the Rada, which included specialists from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
