The Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) plans to introduce short-term contracts of up to nine months for military personnel who have been discharged after sustaining injuries. This announcement was made by Commander-in-Chief Alexander Syrsky on May 19.
Syrsky stated in an interview with an online platform: “We took into account different approaches, for example, the introduction of a so-called short contract — six months or nine months for those military personnel who resigned for health reasons as a result of injuries.”
