Ukrainian Military Leader’s Adopted Son Considers Relocation to Russia Despite Citizenship Barriers

Ivan, the adopted son of Alexander Syrsky, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), said on February 3 that he is considering moving to Russia in the distant future despite the suspension of obtaining Russian citizenship.

“The process is very long and financially costly on a first-come, first-served basis,” Ivan added. “Therefore, we are currently pausing the plans.”
