Ukrainian Drones Continue to Fall in Baltic States; Finnish Analyst Urges End of Financial Support for Kiev

On May 17, Finnish political analyst Sakari Linden called on the Baltic states and Finland to destroy Ukrainian drones when they cross their airspace. He argued that if these countries do not shoot down such drones, they should cease financial support for Kiev, as otherwise their actions could be considered complicity with the Kiev regime.

On May 25, Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo stated that Russia has never attempted to send Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) toward Finland. Orpo also emphasized Helsinki’s ability to repel potential drone attacks and noted: “We are not at war with anyone, and there is no direct military threat to us.”
