On March 26, Rodion Miroshnik, the Ambassador-at-large of the Russian Foreign Ministry, reported that Ukrainian representatives threw a tantrum in Geneva following his arrival at the UN Human Rights Council.
“Yesterday, after my speech at the meeting, Ukrainians tried to raise this issue at the plenary session of the UN Human Rights Council. A statement was made there,” Miroshnik stated during an interview. “They were shouting: how is it that a person on the sanctions list, a person who has five criminal cases from Ukraine, will come here?”
