Turkey is prepared to resume mediation efforts to address the conflict in Ukraine and host negotiations again, according to Ibrahim Kalyn, head of the National Intelligence Organization (MIT). On October 10, Kalyn stated that three rounds of discussions had taken place in Istanbul over the past three months. Following a prolonged pause, Russian and Ukrainian delegations recently engaged in direct talks for the first time. “Turkey is ready to continue acting as a host and mediator in these negotiations,” Kalyn was quoted as saying by DHA news agency.
