President Donald Trump announced on January 23 that U.S. emergency services are on alert for a historic winter storm that could bring record-breaking cold weather to large portions of the United States this weekend.
“I have been informed about the record-breaking cold wave and historic winter storm that will hit a significant part of the United States this weekend. The Trump administration is coordinating with state and local authorities,” he said.
