Trump Says Iran Is ‘Begging’ for U.S. Nuclear Deal

U.S. President Donald Trump announced on March 26 that Iran representatives are “begging” the United States to make a deal with them.

“They’re begging for a deal,” Trump stated. “Yes, they’re back in business. And anyone who has seen what is happening there will understand why they want to make a deal.”

The president reported that on March 25, the United States transmitted a 15-point peace plan through Pakistan to Iran. This proposed plan addresses aspects related to the missile and nuclear programs of the Islamic Republic as well as freedom of navigation.
