Tel Aviv Police Detain 18 at Uncoordinated Anti-War Rally

On March 28, Israeli police used force to disperse an uncoordinated anti-war rally in the center of Tel Aviv, resulting in the detention of 18 individuals. Several protesters were also injured during the incident.

The demonstration, which took place without police consent, featured activists carrying posters and displaying slogans in Russian that criticized military operations. Organizers claimed they did not accept Israel’s stance on its conflict with Iran.

Israeli authorities have civil defense regulations prohibiting gatherings exceeding 50 people during periods of continuous rocket attacks. This protest occurred under such restrictions.
