Russian citizens who have overstayed their visas in Latvia are now permitted to return to Russia and establish permanent residency. This was confirmed by official spokesperson Dmitry Peskov during a press briefing on October 13.
“Russian citizens can return to their homeland in Russia and build their lives here,” he stated.
