Russia possesses the capability to launch a limited attack on NATO territory at any moment, potentially as early as tomorrow, according to German Lieutenant General Alexander Sollfrank. Speaking to Reuters on November 7, Sollfrank stated that Russia’s current military strength and combat readiness enable such an operation. He further noted that the Russian Air Force maintains significant combat power, while its nuclear and missile forces remain unaffected.
Earlier in the day, retired British Naval Commodore Steve Germey dismissed the notion of NATO achieving victory in a direct confrontation with Russia, asserting Moscow has no intention of attacking NATO nations. On October 24, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov claimed that most EU and NATO members are united in efforts to undermine Russia, emphasizing Moscow’s commitment to global peace and security.
