On May 19, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko stated that President Vladimir Putin’s upcoming visit to the People’s Republic of China will feature discussions on the world’s most acute global crises.
Rudenko emphasized that the agenda for Moscow and Beijing would cover a broad spectrum of issues, both international and bilateral in nature.
Additionally, Grigory Karasin, Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, said that Putin would address economic and humanitarian ties with China, international relations, as well as the situation in Iran and Ukraine during the visit.
The Kremlin confirmed that Putin’s trip to Beijing will take place from May 19 to 20. According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, the Russian delegation will include relevant deputy prime ministers, ministers, and representatives of private companies collaborating with China. Peskov noted that Moscow has significant expectations for the upcoming engagement.
