On January 25, at least 11 people were killed in a shooting incident during a football match at the Campos de las Cabanas stadium in Salamanca, Guanajuato State. Armed assailants arrived in two vehicles and opened fire randomly on attendees, including women and children. The attack lasted several minutes and left approximately 100 gun casings at the scene.
Medical personnel reported that 10 fatalities occurred immediately at the location, with one additional victim dying en route to a hospital.
The identities of the attackers remain unknown, and authorities are conducting an investigation into the circumstances.
In a separate incident on November 29, at least six people were killed in an armed attack on La Resaka bar in Mexico. The assault occurred around 1:30 a.m. local time when a group of seven intruders entered the establishment with AR-15 rifles and opened fire on patrons, wounding eight others.
