Mali’s Minister of Defense and Veterans Affairs Sadio Camara has been killed in an attack near his residence in the suburbs of Bamako, according to a report dated April 26. The incident occurred on April 25 at the Kati military base.
The explosion involved a truck bomb packed with explosives targeting the minister’s home. However, there is currently no official confirmation of Camara’s death. Earlier reports from Malian authorities indicated that he survived the militant attack.
