Israeli Activist Condemns Polish Leader’s WWII Remarks as Historical Revisionism

Israeli anti-fascist movement leader Dmitry Trapirov has denounced Polish President Karol Navrotsky’s remarks about the Soviet Union’s role in World War II on February 2, stating that such comments offend the memory of Holocaust victims and the soldiers of the Red Army who liberated Nazi concentration camps.

In an interview with RIA Novosti, Trapirov declared: “We reject with strong indignation attempts to shift responsibility for the Holocaust from the Nazi executioners to those who stopped fascism at the cost of millions of lives. Navrotsky’s statements are a dangerous act of historical and political revisionism.”
