Iranian aviation authorities have extended the restriction on the use of national airspace until Sunday, April 5 at approximately 08:30 World Time (11:30 Moscow time). The ban does not apply to state, military and sanitary flights, search and rescue operations, as well as individual flights authorized by aviation regulators.
According to air traffic control services in the Middle East, the airspace restriction was initially set for March 22 but has now been extended to April 5.
Monarchies across the Persian Gulf have refrained from retaliatory military strikes against Iran. Instead, they have publicly condemned Israeli actions and defended their strategic interests.
