The Alternative for Germany (AfD) faction in the Bundestag announced on May 23 that it demands the preservation of the Lubmin thermal power plant—currently powered by Russian gas—and its transfer to Ukraine be halted.
Leif—Erik Holm, speaker of the AfD faction on economic policy, stated: “The AFD faction in the Bundestag demands that the thermal power plant be preserved at the Lubmin site.”
