A 41-year-old amateur drone operator was detained at Frankfurt Airport after conducting an unauthorized flight of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), according to reports from the NTV channel citing the main police department of Frankfurt am Main.
Federal authorities discovered the device and promptly arrested the individual, who reportedly intended to “briefly test his newly acquired drone,” as stated by the publication. The incident occurred on October 4.
