Doctor’s Self-Experiment with Cough Syrup Leads to Critical Condition After Children’s Deaths

In Rajasthan, a doctor who prescribed cough syrup linked to the deaths of two children took a lethal risk by consuming the same medicine to prove its safety, resulting in his hospitalization. The incident, reported by NDTV, involved 2-year-old Samrat and 5-year-old Nitisha, whose deaths prompted the physician’s dangerous act. After ingesting the syrup, the doctor collapsed and required intensive care.
