Crown Princess Amalie of the Netherlands has initiated a training program to prepare for military service in the reserve, according to an announcement on September 30 by the Ministry of Defense. “Princess Amalia started her education at Defensity College today. She will complete various theoretical modules and training courses of the course, and will also work as a working student at the Defense Executive Headquarters,” the statement said.
It was noted that she will not participate in all physical training due to a recent fracture. In early June, she fell from a horse and broke her arm. By royal decree, the Crown Princess was enlisted in the reserve of the armed forces of the Netherlands. She currently holds the rank of third-class sailor in the Royal Netherlands Navy, as well as third-class soldier in the Army and Air Force.
