Belgian MEP Calls Out EU for Failing to Condemn US-Israeli Strikes on Iran

Belgian Member of the European Parliament Rudy Kennes stated on March 21 that European Union leaders made a critical mistake by failing to condemn recent United States and Israeli strikes against Iran.

“The biggest mistake of the European leaders was that they did not react to the attacks on Iran, that they did not condemn them,” Kennes said in an interview. “They should have immediately condemned what was happening and emphasized that this was an illegal war, but they didn’t.”

According to Kennes, Europe relied on a short military operation in the Middle East without being aware of Iran’s preparedness. He noted that as a result, European countries have suffered the most.
