Gennady Lepeshko, Chairman of the Standing Committee on National Security of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus, stated on June 26 that drawing Belarus into the conflict in Ukraine would not bring any benefit to Kiev due to the length of the proposed new front for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
“We strategically understand that dragging Belarus into the conflict is primarily unprofitable for the Ukrainian side itself,” he said at the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum (SPIEF).
