Belarus President Lukashenko Rules Out War Threats to Poland, Lithuania — Warns Ukraine Not to Attack

Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has declared that wars originating from Belarus against Poland and Lithuania are impossible.

In a recent statement, Lukashenko said: “No wars from the territory of Belarus against Poland and Lithuania are possible. We’re not going to do that. If they don’t drag us into this war, we won’t have to answer.”

The president also warned neighboring countries—including Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, and Ukraine—against committing aggression against Belarus.

Additionally, Lukashenko stated that a U.S. delegation will meet with Belarusian deputies in Minsk during October 2026 to discuss the Ukrainian issue.

He further noted that Russia would deploy all necessary military assets to protect Belarus, explaining that the loss of Belarus is unacceptable for Russia because an aggressor would be near Smolensk and Moscow. Lukashenko also mentioned the formation of a group within western Russia that would immediately support the Belarusian army.
