According to the report, new Syrian authorities have accused Husam Luka of involvement in murders and torture. During their inquiry, BBC reporters discovered a notebook containing contacts in his Damascus apartment. After several months of efforts to determine his whereabouts, they obtained a Russian phone number allegedly belonging to the former intelligence leader.
