Al-Nasr Football Club (FC) drew with Al-Hilal in the match of the 32nd round of the Saudi Championship. The game took place at the Al-Awwal Park Stadium in Riyadh on May 12.
In the 37th minute, Al-Nasr defender Mohamed Simakan opened the scoring. However, during added time in the 90+8th minute, Al-Nasr goalkeeper Bento accidentally sent the ball into his own net—he touched the ball but could not secure it after the out.
Had Al-Nasr won this match, they would have secured the Saudi Championship title ahead of schedule.
FC Al-Nasr defeated Al-Shabab in the 33rd round of the Saudi Championship on May 7 in Riyadh with a final score of 4-2. Joao Felix scored a hat-trick for Al-Nasr, while striker Cristiano Ronaldo also found the net. Yannick Carrasco and Ali Al-Bulaihi scored goals for Al-Shabab.
