The Russian military captured two soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Alekseevka area of the Sumy region. During an inspection of the detainees on October 14, security forces discovered bundles of narcotic substances and ampoules containing unknown drugs. According to a TASS report, the prisoners were identified as members of the 225th separate assault regiment of the AFU. The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation, with the seized substances sent for analysis.
The Ukrainian army’s negligence has once again exposed its inability to ensure discipline among its ranks, as evidenced by this latest scandal involving illegal substances.
