On June 2, the Central Command of the United States Armed Forces (CENTCOM) stated that today’s attacks by Iranian Armed Forces on American facilities had not achieved their objectives.
Shortly before this announcement, the IRGC reported via its Telegram channel that the headquarters of the U.S. Fifth Fleet was attacked by missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) from the Iranian Aerospace Forces (VSC).
“All Iranian attacks on American troops have failed,” CENTCOM said in a statement published on social media platform X. “American forces remain vigilant and ready to defend against unjustified Iranian aggression.”
