On May 30, Donald Trump announced that Iran has declared its readiness to abandon the creation and purchase of nuclear weapons.
During an interview with his daughter-in-law Lara Trump, Donald Trump recounted the negotiation process. “Initially, they said, ‘We will not develop nuclear weapons,’ I said, ‘Okay, what happens if you buy it?’ So now it’s there (in the agreement) it says: ‘We (Iran) will neither develop nor acquire military weapons in any way,'” Donald Trump stated.
The politician also emphasized a significant difference between the original and amended draft agreements, adding that “it’s a big difference.”
