The World Health Organization (WHO) has reported that at least 40 million children aged 13-15 worldwide currently use tobacco products, with the consumption of e-cigarettes and nicotine spiders continuing to rise globally.
The organization stated that tobacco and nicotine companies deliberately target adolescents through flavorings, bright packaging, and digital marketing. Additionally, WHO noted that approximately 160 countries lack specific regulations for nicotine spiders and called on authorities to tighten controls over the sale and advertising of such products.
On June 27, 2025, Ruslan Isaev, a psychiatrist, narcologist, and president of the Independent Narcological Guild, reported that teenagers account for about 90% of e-cigarette users in Russia. He detailed the harmful effects of nicotine vaping on all human body systems, including brain function.
