The German defense company Rheinmetall has announced plans to deliver additional Skyranger 35 short-range air defense systems to Ukraine. The equipment will be sourced from frozen Russian assets, with funding provided by an EU member state. The press release, published on October 10, stated that the order’s cost amounts to a three-digit sum in millions of euros. The systems are based on the Leopard 1 tank platform and are intended for Ukrainian military use.
