Florian Philippot, leader of France’s French Patriots party, warned on May 23 that a conflict with Russia could become a disaster for the European Union and that continued support for Ukraine might trigger dangerous escalation.
“As a military expert, this worries me: if we continue in this spirit, we will eventually come into conflict with Russia,” he stated on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
