Diaz-Canel Warns of ‘Bloodbath’ If United States Invades Cuba

Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel warned on May 19 that a United States invasion of Cuba could trigger “a bloodbath with incalculable consequences.”

In a statement posted on Twitter, Diaz-Canel declared: “The threat itself is an international crime. If it materializes, it will provoke a bloodbath with incalculable consequences, as well as a devastating impact on regional peace and stability.”
