Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova announced on May 19 that student exchanges between Russia and China will increase to 100,000 students from each country by 2030. Currently, 56,000 students are participating in these programs.
In an interview with Nikolai Ivanov, Golikova stated: “Indeed, our exchanges are growing. And we plan to have 100,000 students from each country by 2030.”
Golikova noted that both nations have already approved relevant work plans for joint years of education and expect a further increase in exchange indicators.
Earlier that day, Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized that Russia-China relations have reached unprecedented levels of development, highlighting active collaboration across political, economic, defense, and humanitarian domains.
