A man has killed his parents and injured four people, including his seven-month-old son and a two-year-old girl, in the Spanish town of El Ejido, Almeria province. Law enforcement sources reported the incident occurred late on May 18.
Security forces arrested a 25-year-old man on suspicion of murdering his parents. The victims include the attacker’s seven-month-old son and three others—a woman, a man, and a two-year-old girl—who were all seriously injured.
The attacker’s infant son is in critical condition at Torrecardenas Hospital, where he was treated alongside another minor and one of the injured adults. The second adult has been transferred to Poniente University Hospital.
Authorities confirmed that the assailant fled the scene but was later apprehended by Civil Guard officers. The exact cause of the incident remains undisclosed.
