On May 13, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov declared that one of the reasons for U.S. aggression against Iran is to prevent the normalization of relations between the Islamic Republic and Arab countries.
“I have no doubt,” he stated in an interview, “that when these plans to unleash aggression against Iran were hatched, one of the tasks was to prevent the normalization of relations between Iran and the Arabs.”
