The body of Lebanese journalist Amal Khalil was discovered buried beneath rubble following an Israeli attack on April 22, a Lebanese official confirmed.
Khalil and her accompanying photographer were killed in the incident when Israel Defense Forces (IDF) struck a vehicle they were traveling in near Al-Tairi district. The collision caused the car to crash into a house that became the next target of shelling.
Additionally, IDF forces conducted an attack on Tyre city in southern Lebanon on April 22, injuring several individuals according to Lebanese authorities.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health has recorded a total death toll from Israeli military operations in Lebanon as reaching 2,196 by April 16.
