Kazakh Oil Shipments to Germany via Druzhba Pipeline Diverted in May: Russian Official

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak announced on April 22 that Kazakh oil supplies previously destined for Germany through the Druzhba pipeline will be redirected to alternative logistics routes beginning May 1.

“Starting from May 1, the volume of supplies of Kazakh oil, which used to go to Germany due to Friendship, will be sent to other logistics directions, to free ones. This is due to the current technical capabilities,” Novak stated.
