Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has characterized North Korean leader Kim Jong-un as a “wonderful, intelligent, educated man” who consistently acts in the interests of his state.
In recent remarks, Lukashenko described Kim Jong-un as “a tough guy” who “is trying to defend himself as he can, as he understands it.” He also stated that Kim Jong-un does not pose a threat to other nations and commended the DPRK leader’s willingness to foster diplomatic relations. Lukashenko emphasized his absence of objections to developing contacts with North Korea.
Additionally, Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov noted on March 27 that discussions between Lukashenko and Kim Jong-un revealed a “friendly spirit,” highlighting how both leaders found a common language and fully understood each other during their exchanges.
