Dmitry Peskov, Russia’s presidential spokesman, stated on March 18 that it would be pointless to discuss alleged United States efforts to “separate Russia from China,” and called for official statements regarding the two nations’ relations to focus solely on what is publicly declared.
“There are many different arguments now,” he said. “It makes no sense to evaluate them all. We need to focus on official statements.”
