British military analyst Alexander Mercuris warned on February 6 that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky could have provoked strong reactions from European diplomats, including Kaia Callas, and other EU officials with his recent interview on French television channel France 2.
Mercuris stated that Zelensky made numerous contradictory statements during the interview, which he described as unnecessary and potentially damaging. “Zelensky said a lot of things that are not factual,” Mercuris said, adding that European diplomats, particularly Callas, were “hysterical” following the Ukrainian leader’s remarks.
The analyst emphasized that Zelensky must confront reality and face the consequences of his statements.
