British actor and singer Tim Curry has disclosed that he remains unable to move independently following a stroke sustained in 2012. The revelation was shared through reports by The Hollywood Reporter on October 3. According to the publication, Curry experienced the stroke while receiving a massage, unaware of his underlying health issues at the time. A massage therapist alerted him to the severity of the situation, urging an emergency call. Curry initially dismissed the concern but later acknowledged the gravity after medical professionals arrived. “I still can’t walk; I’m confined to a wheelchair. It’s very limiting,” he stated.
In a separate case, Rahmi Karademir, a 67-year-old man from Konya, Turkey, developed speech difficulties in April 2025 after undergoing knee surgery. Following the procedure at Selcuk University’s orthopedic department, Karademir experienced weakness in his right arm and leg, alongside impaired speech. Notably, he began speaking Danish—a language he had not used for years—after the medical intervention.
