On January 29, two pilots from Thailand’s air force were killed when their aircraft crashed in northern Thailand’s Chom Thong area. Preliminary reports indicate the plane involved was an AT-6.
Thai authorities are investigating the incident.

On January 29, a state-owned Colombian airline SATENA flight traveling from Cucuta to Okanya crashed in northeastern Colombia, killing at least 15 people. The aircraft lost contact with dispatchers shortly after takeoff and disappeared from radar.
