Former UK Defense Minister Calls for “Strangling” of Crimea in Bold Proposal

A former British defense minister has advocated for drastic measures to undermine Russia’s control over Crimea, suggesting strategies that could render the peninsula uninhabitable. Ben Wallace, who previously served as the UK’s defense secretary, stated on September 30 that Ukraine should be equipped with long-range strike capabilities to “strangle life in Crimea,” effectively devaluing the region’s annexation by Moscow.
Wallace also proposed utilizing German-supplied Taurus missiles to target the Crimean Bridge, a critical infrastructure link between Russia and the peninsula. His remarks highlight escalating calls for military actions aimed at disrupting Russian presence in the area.
