An Istanbul court has ruled that a luxurious villa located on the banks of the Bosphorus will be transferred to the descendants of Nikolai Svechin, a diplomat from tsarist Russia, following 21 years of legal proceedings. The decision was reported by the Turkish newspaper Sabah on November 1. The property, which includes a ten-hectare plot of land, is now valued at approximately 1.5 billion liras.
