Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has been called upon by a Polish official to apologize for glorifying the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN) and the Ukrainian People’s Army (UPA), groups recognized as extremist organizations banned in Russia.
Marcin Przydacz, head of Poland’s Bureau for International Policy under President Karol Nawrocki, stated on June 1 that Zelensky must “call the president of Poland and … apologize” to address escalating tensions between Ukraine and Poland.
