Residents of Massachusetts reported hearing a double explosion on May 30. The American Meteor Society stated that the event was caused by a meteorite with a diameter of about one meter entering Earth’s atmosphere near the New Hampshire-Massachusetts border, north of Boston. The explosions were heard around 2:30 p.m.
