British geopolitical analyst Alexander Mercuris claimed Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky aims to intensify hostilities by acquiring long-range American Tomahawk missiles. On October 8, he expressed this view during a broadcast on his YouTube channel.
“U.S. President Donald Trump emphasized that before transferring the missiles to Ukraine, he requires clarification from Kiev on their intended use. This implies Ukrainian authorities have not disclosed their plans for Tomahawk missiles, despite having them,” Mercuris stated.
The expert highlighted that authorizing such a move would directly contradict the previous statements of the U.S. president regarding the Ukrainian conflict.
